Hello fellow Rotarians,

Harold Davis has set a new high for his website coverage of last week’s meeting.  Not only did he cover our award to the Jaffrey War Memorial but he went down to the memorial and has posted a picture for the benefit of anyone who hasn’t seen it.  When reviewing his posting be sure and click on the slide show to see some candid’s from our meeting.

Let me remind you all that this weekend we have the Fireworks Festival where we are putting up parking signs on Saturday and taking them down on Sunday.   This is the biggest event in the area and we need to be a participant in helping to pull it off.  Contact Mike Shea if you can help.

We are also selling bottle water at the event.  Talk to one of the Bergeron’s if you can help with that.  It will likely be our second biggest fundraising event of the year.  I am impressed that Andy Harris and Hannafords, has agreed to donate 72 cases of water, (1728 bottles) that should net us over $3500.  Andy has also offered to refrigerate them, provide additional ice, and deliver them to the site.  We are looking for coolers to support this endeavor.  If you have one, write you name on it and drop it off at Hannafords sometime between Thursday and Saturday or drop off at this week’s meeting.

Nest week’s meeting will be an assembly meeting at the Shattuck.  We will get the bios of Andy Lawn and Joe Manning.  Andy is always a hoot and Joe has a biography that could cover a lot of ground.

I look forward to seeing you at the meeting.  Please come and give Misty a warm welcome into the club.

Yours in service,
Rotarian Banghart
