Tuesday evening November 2 the Conant High School Interact Club inducted 19 new members.
Interact is a service club for young people ages 12-18, sponsored by local Rotary International Clubs, who want to join together to tackle the issues in their community that they care most about.
CHS Interact Club was formed four years and has grown to 55 students. This represents approximately ten percent of the total population at Conant High School.
This year club members will once again be raising funds for a service trip to Nicaragua. During last year’s trip the members assisted in building a house, made cement stoves and made connections that will last a life time. The Interacters also help at Quest, tutor other students, a new program this year, assist with the Jaffrey afterschool programs and are planning several events to raise money for local charities.
