May 11, 2017 Meeting

It was a good meeting. Perhaps the best news was when Joe Manning reported that his cancer was cured. The rest of the meeting included a new member induction, a donation to Camp Mayhew and a presentation by the members of the Conant Interact Club.

Misty Start presents our newest member, Nicole Newell

Tonya presents a donation to Jim Nute, Director of Camp Mathew. The Camps mission can be best explained by the following information from there web site:
"The Mayhew Program challenges and helps at-risk New Hampshire boys to believe in themselves, work well with others, and find their best. It is the only all-boys program in the state that combines a residential summer program and school year mentoring for at-risk boys, tuition-free, through high school graduation."

All the members of the interact club gave a short presentation of their trip to Nicaragua and other activities. their advisor, Patty McCarthy listed the many, many activities that the club has been involved in the last year. The list is so long that I there isn't room on this page to list them

THERE ARE MORE PICTURES THAN USUAL - ESPECIALLY OF THE INTERACT CLUB
