Hello fellow Rotarians,

It is with great regret that I must inform you that Peter Davis has resigned at our President Elect.  I am sorry for our club because I was looking forward to Peter’s spirit and enthusiasm, and I am sorry for Peter that his personal life can’t accommodate his time as our president.

We are fortunate that Bob Schaumann has agreed to step up as PE, on short notice.  The short notice is not new to our club.  Without the benefit of training that Rotary offers to incoming presidents, we should give Bob all the support we can and cut him as much slack as possible as he gets up to speed

This week we will be at Millipore, and remember:
  • They are expecting us at 7:00, a little earlier than normal.
  • They would like us to carpool if possible so meeting some place prior, Kimballs would be a logical choice, is suggested.
  • Beside the breakfast, they will host an optional tour of their plant after the meeting so you are welcome to stay for that if you have the time.

Our speaker this week is the Superintendent of Schools, Ruben Duncan.  He spoke to our club when he first came to the SAU, but he now has a message that he is trying to get out to as many people as he can.

Next week we will start our summer season at the Shattuck.  It will be a club assembly and include what we need to know about this year’s Quest, results of the member survey, and some of the key take away’s from the District Conference.

I was pleased to see our road cleanup crew on the top left corner of the Jaffrey Chamber’s Newsletter.  Thanks to Mike Shea and all who participated on “Jaffrey’s largest ever Spring Cleanup”.

Yours in service,
Rotarian Banghart
