Hello fellow Rotarians,

I think with all of the Memorial Day events, including a great parade in Jaffrey, you will all remember that we have no Rotary meeting this week.  We were represented in the parade by one of the four remaining WWII vets from Jaffrey, Joe Manning, who looked pretty spiffy in his naval uniform.

After Tonya’s passionate discussion at last week’s meeting I know you all remember that we have kicked off the scheduling of Rotarians for Quest.  Schedule response have been light, which is great for scheduling because it means most of you are available at any time.  If not, let me know if you have any issues:
  • Dates you can’t make or dates you prefer
  • Any day of the week that doesn’t work or a day that works best
  • Any times that work best: mornings vs afternoon, full-days vs half days
  • Any activities you like or don’t like (no guarantees on this preference)
You can email or call with your inputs.

Owen Houghton and Peter Davis are in the process on collaborating on a talk for June 8th that will cover some of the options for what might happen with the St Pats School facilities.  The options can have a significant impact on the town of Jaffrey going forward and there is still an opportunity for us to influence the outcome.
Yours in service,
Rotarian Banghart
