We meet Thursday at Franklin Pierce University for our Breakfast meeting. Bruce Edwards has the Invocation.
I spent an enjoyable and educational Saturday at the Rotary Leadership Training in Lebanon this past weekend. I can see why presidents-elect are encouraged to go as well as current presidents and chapter members. I gained some good ideas... and will share a few of them at our Breakfast meeting on Thursday, October 5th. Stillman Rogers will be our guest speaker.
One month from this date is our Raffle Party. Let's keep promoting this event until ALL tickets are sold!
Speaking of events, we have an opportunity to recognize one who has been helpful to our Rotary Club over the years. Carolyn Edwards, owner of Sunflowers Restaurant, is being honored with a Civic Leadership Award at the Jaffrey Civic Center on Thursday at 5:30pm. I understand tickets are $10 apiece. Diane and I look forward to joining many Jaffrey-Rindge Rotarians as, together, we honor someone who has been supportive of Rotary efforts.
