Peter Davis, a resident of Jaffrey, has recently become a member of the Jaffrey - Rindge Rotary Club.

Peter was owned a consulting business working in the areas of economic development and agricultural administration; Economic Development Planner for the New Hampshire Southwest Planning Commission; Economic Development Director for the Town of Jaffrey, New Hampshire; Agricultural representative to the New Hampshire Water Council; Executive Director for the New Hampshire Association of Conservation Districts and the State Conservation Committee; Two term Cheshire County Commissioner, Cheshire County, New Hampshire; Three term Selectman for the Town of Jaffrey, New Hampshire.

Peter also owned and operated 500-acre dairy farm consisting of 300 purebred Ayrshire Dairy cattle; Served as President and Executive Director of the National Ayrshire Cattle Association and as President of the National Purebred Dairy Cattle Association; Director of the Farm Credit Bank System;

Peter is a former Special Agent, Federal Bureau of Investigation; Captain, US Army, Ordnance Corps, Explosive Ordnance Disposal.

Peter attended the University of New Hampshire, BA-Economics, Class of 1960, minor civil engineering; Peter played on football, basketball and baseball teams. Past member and president of the UNH Florida Southwest Alumni Chapter and recipient of the UNH Alumni Meritorious Award.

Peter and his wife Barbara have been married 54 years and recently returned to Jaffrey after retiring to Florida for 13 years. They  have two children who live in Florida and Georgia.
