Rotary donates to local programs.

At this mornings meeting Gail and Andy presented checks to two local programs. 

Amy Broome was on hand to accept a check for the Candy  Buy Back program. This program goes to schools in area towns and pays $1 per pound to buy back Halloween candy. The money goes to the schools for little extras and the candy is shipped to deployed soldiers. The children all get new toothbrushes.

Sherrill Brokousky and Cam  Twiss came from the Watatic Grange to accept a check to their program which provides dictionaries to all the 3rd graders in our local schools. This program has been in place for a long time. Olive Bourque of Jaffrey handled this locally for many years.
