Weekly Update 11/3

Two words. REVERSE RAFFLE!

The main event is only 3 days away and I am anxiously anticipating the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary’s night in the spot light. Our Raffle/Auction Team has done a fantastic job assembling some top shelf door prizes and auction items. Be sure to make an effort to persuade the folks you sold tickets to too attend the event. The Celtic live music, hors d’oeuvres and glasses of libation will surely accent the evening. Tom D., Randy, Sheila and Sadie may need a hand setting-up on Friday? If you can be available, please reach out to one of them and we’ll put you to work.

Remember to wear your Rotary pin, so folks will know who to turn to if they wish to enquire about joining the club. This is not only a fund raising event. The Honorable Clay Hollister will be presenting the Paul Harris Fellowship Award to a deserving member of our community. Clay is the right man for this presentation as it is truly an Honor to be the recipient of this prestigious award.

Thursday November 6 is our Club meeting at FPU. Please bring your sold and not sold tickets to this meeting. You would be surprised at the tickets we sell the day of the Raffle. I am hopeful that we don’t have many available to sell?! Tonya will present the speaker for this meeting. He is Kevin Holfelner, the clinical coordinator for Monadnock Family Services. Kevin will be speaking to us on drug use in our community and support services provided by MFS.

THERE IS NO MEETING NEXT WEEK ON NOVEMBER 13 because of the Veterans Day Holiday.

Veterans Day is Tuesday November 11.

Make sure if you know a Veteran that you thank them for their service to our country.
