Weekly Update 12/8

To say “the weather outside is frightful” would be an understatement! The forecast for the week is not looking favorable and this would be a good time to remind all members of the Club our meeting cancelation policy. In the event the Jaffrey/Rindge Schools are cancelled or delayed, then our Rotary Club Meetings are cancelled. [ Depending on tomorrow’sforecast, I may make a command decision sooner?]

December 11 Rotary itinerary includes the presentation of our donations to “Operation Santa” and “Santa’s House”. The Board of directors approved an increase in our annual donation to these favorite charities of ours. Good news for the children and parents of our community!

Bob Schaumann is in charge of the speaker for this meeting. He has asked our Rotary Club Past President Cathy Batchelder to present the “Jaffrey-Rindge Extended Day After-School Tutoring Program”.  More Good News for our Community!

Rotary Assistant District Governor, Doug Rupert will be attending the meeting. Make sure you say hello to Doug.

If we can get Clay Holister off of the mountain, he will provide the invocation?!
