Another busy week for the Jaffrey/Rindge Rotary Club.

Wednesday night August 27 is the Board of Directors Meeting at Wood Bound Inn with the District Governor Richard Berryman. He is anxious to hear about all the past and present events that are taking place with our club. Tom Doane will present the “Quest” slide show we just saw last week and Tonya will be present to let the Governor understand what a huge undertaking this project is. We will then entertain DG Berryman with dinner at Wood Bound.

Thursday is our Club meeting at the Shattuck and we will have quite a few guest. The people from Atlas will be presenting their donation for the “sign project”. The District Governor will be our speaker. The Assistant District Governor, Doug Rupert found out that Jed and I were taking the Governor to play golf after the meeting. So he will also be in attendance and plans to play golf with us at the Shattuck.

Many thanks to Fellowship Chairman Don Upton for arranging the night out at the Peterborough Players on September 9.

I believe we have around 40 people attending and I am looking forward to it. His plans for the “BIG E” are in full swing and he really needs to know soon if you would like to attend?

Tom Doane is working diligently behind the scenes to make this the best “Reverse Raffle” ever. Please let Tom know if you can help in any way as we all know this event is a lot of work and our largest fund raiser.

Well, this is a short work week for me as after entertaining the Rotary hierarchy, I am on vacation. My son Christopher comes home Thursday night and I have not seen him since April 2013. You might say I’m a little excited!

See you all on Thursday.
