Travis Kumph enthusiastically presented the committee's proposal for working with the Leon Rotary in Nicaragua. The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club, working with other Rotary Clubs in the area, will be seeking a matching grant at both the District level and from Rotary International.  At least three of our Rotarians will be heading to Guilford on May 5th to attend the Grant Writing Workshop.

Samantha "Sam" LaFortune is recognized by President Bob Schaumann for her hard work during the recent Roadside Cleanup, as part of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club's April 21st Earth Day involvement.  Sam won the unofficial contest for reportedly finding more of one particular item than any other Rotarian and was so honored amidst good-natured ribbing from fellow Rotarians.

Clay Hollister, our Foundation Chair, continues to promote our Club's 100% membership participation and encourages each Rotarian to contribute to Rotary International and/or BEST Camp. Everyone is asked to make their contribution by our May 17th meeting.
