It wasn't all milk and honey, as Russ Gaskamp explained, as he traced his career to the point where he finally arrived on the doorstep of Franklin Pierce College as head football coach.  Russ and his wife, Justine, arrived on the campus less than a year ago, following several years of coaching experience at other schools.

Morgan Smith, FPU Football Kicker and Captain!

Don't let the picture fool you.  That's one tough cookie in Morgan Smith, a placekicker on the FPU football team. Morgan became the first female football player to score in an NE10 football game, which also was Franklin Pierce’s first win as an official DII football program. A junior, Morgan kicked three extra points in the team's 27-25 victory over Curry College.  Want to see it?  Go to: https://www.ncaa.com/video/football/2019-09-16/watch-morgan-smith-become-first-ne10-woman-kick-extra-point
