Fellow Rotarians,

We meet on Thursday morning at 7:15 am at the Woodbound Inn.  Tonya Albee has the invocation.  Our very own Bill Raymond will be giving us a presentation on Rotary 101.  What’s the purpose of Rotary and why should we care?  Come and find out.

Thank you to Mike Shea for organizing the Festival of Fireworks signs evolution.  Thank you to everyone that participated.  I believe we set land speed records this year in every phase of the process.

Monadnock Community Hospital has reserved a foursome for the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary (past participants for several years) in a closed-out tourney on Friday, September 6th, with play beginning at 8:30am.  Since several past players are on the disabled list, Owen needs three members to step up and join him that day.  Please contact Owen this week to play in this tournament.

Mike Shea, Ben Wheeler, Andy Lawn and I went nine under par at the District 7870 golf tournament in Keene on Friday, placing 5th.  Keep this tournament in mind for 2020.  Many clubs had multiple teams and we should be one of them next year.

Have a great week and see you on Thursday!

Sincerely,

Jon
