Fellow Rotarians,

First, I want to thank all the old, lame, and sick Rotarians, including myself, but not Stephanie, for attending our fellowship meeting at the Cathedral of the Pines last Thursday. Second, I want to thank Robert Emmett Kelly for his outstanding singing and musical performance. The last song was by Andre Bocelli and Sarah Brightman: Time to Say Goodbye.

Our next meeting is Thursday, August 6th, at 7:15am, at Monadnock Christian Ministries.  It will be an awards ceremony and special recognition for Roy Baldwin and other luminaries.  Coffee and danish will be provided; don’t forget to bring masks.

This was our 10th and final year for Camp BEST. I hope all Rotarians can attend and celebrate this truly great accomplishment that benefitted middle schoolers and mentors.

Did you know the state dog before the chinook was a French poodle?

Yours in service,

Jed

Bob Kelly of TikTok Fame Sings for Jaffrey-Rindge Rotarians

The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary held its Thursday meeting and social at the Cathedral of the Pines, featuring the singing of Rindge's Robert (Bob) Kelly, who has amassed a following of a quarter-million followers on TikTok because of his songs that focus on, among other things, the Coronavirus and its impact.

Andy and Samantha Show Off Coordinated Outfits

Always good to see color coordination when it comes to masks and attire.  Both Andy Lawn and Sam LaFortune sport their coordinated look.  Now if we could only find a mask for Bill Driscoll that goes with his colorful slacks!

Rotarian Susan Emerson Cleans Her Glasses

One reason why the Cathedral of the Pines' shrubs, plants, and flowers look so good is because of the volunteer work of Susan Emerson who invests several hours each week helping to keep the Cathedral grounds looking great.  Susan also serves as a Trustee on the Cathedral's Board of Trustees, alongside Rotarians Bernie Hampsey, Kathleen Card, Greg Walsh, Bob Schaumann, and Trustees Emeritus Don Upton and Jed Brummer.
