Hi Fellow Rotarians,
There is no meeting this week because of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day.
Our next meeting will be a CLUB SOCIAL on Thursday, January 31st, at the Shattuck, at 5:30pm - 7:00pm. This is for spouses, too. Look for a separate email within the next 24 hours with a request for your RSVP so that we might have a headcount for food.
Monday saw several Rotarians at the United Church of Jaffrey for the program that honored Dr. King's memory. Great program that was sponsored by the Civic Center and its committee.
Thursday of this week the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will be helping with the Community Free Dinner at the same United Church of Jaffrey. Sheila Bergeron is driving this effort -- several Rotarians have volunteered to help, and we could still use a few more. Please arrive at the church at 4:00pm to help with preparations.
The Club's Blue Ribbon Committee and its four sub-committees have been meeting; the Committee, chaired by Ben Wheeler, reconvenes on Wednesday. Good progress is being made.
