Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We meet Thursday at Franklin Pierce University for our Club Assembly at 7:15am.  Harold Davis has the Invocation.

Tonya Albee will share an in-depth presentation on the 2018 BEST Camp experience.  Tonya presented the same report to the Club's Board of Directors on Tuesday (today), all of who were impressed by the detail and educational value of what she shared.  That same information will be shared with Rotarians, and it is my betting money that everyone will learn some things about which you may not have been aware. Tonya and her Committee, along with Dan Bemis, Recreation Director for Rindge, did a great job this summer.

Speaking about "sharing of information," I want to make it a point to share with the Club the outcomes and decisions of your Board of Directors at our September meeting.  Thus, please anticipate a "BoD Report" as part of each Club Assembly from this point forward, as the BoD meets the Tuesday before most Club Assembly meetings.

Please remember that our September 27th meeting is an EVENING meeting (no breakfast meeting that day).  It will be hosted at Emma's 321 Pub on Route 202 and begins at 5:30pm.  This first of our monthly evening meetings is a great opportunity to introduce a prospective Rotarian to our Club.  I will be bringing at least two guests and I encourage you to bring a guest, too (Yes, this is a "do as I do"... and not a "do as I say" request).

At our Evening meeting, we will take the opportunity to recognize one of our own with a Paul Harris Fellowship award.   The Paul Harris Fellowship Award is one of the highest honours Rotary can bestow upon a person. Recipients are Rotarians and community professionals, in recognition of their outstanding contributions, exemplifying the highest ideal in Rotary in placing “SERVICE ABOVE SELF.”

Who is it?  Come to the evening meeting and find out!

See you at Club Assembly!

Yours in Service,

bob
