Superintendent of SAU 47, James O’Neill, presented the GEM award to the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club at the School Board meeting on Monday, December 15th. The GEM award is given to those in the community who “Go the Extra Mile” for the students in our community. Superintendent O’Neill stated that the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary was deserving of the GEM award due to the many ways that they support our students including the QUEST Summer Camp Program, scholarships for students engaging in community service and Student of the Month Awards. QUEST, in its fourth year, served over 80 middle school students this summer with the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary working in partnership with the SAU and Franklin Pierce University.
