Hello fellow Rotarians,

This week’s meeting is a club assembly featuring our new District Governor Dennis McMann.  I have been with Dennis at Pre-PETS in Merrimack, PETS in Framingham, the District Training Session in Keene, and the District Meeting in Portsmouth.  Dennis’s philosophy comes across to me as no-nonsense, let the clubs do what works best for them, let’s make Rotary as good as it can be, and he has a lot of passion.  Let’s all give Dennis a warm welcome and be a little light on the roasting.

You should all have received your semi-annual bill via club runner.  Bill has tried to make it easy on us by having one bill that combines, breakfast charges for the club, district dues and RI dues.  Let’s all try and make it easy on him by paying the invoices quickly and without harassment.

As we gather at the Shattuck on Thursday, we will be in our last day of Quest at FPU and only two days left of Quest for the year.  You should all be proud that we pulled it off for another year.

Remember this will be our last week at Franklin Pierce.

Next week, we will be back at the Shattuck and Marcie Manning will give her second talk on the First Ladies of the United States.  I am sure those who heard Marcie last year will be looking forward to the sequel.

Yours in service,
Rotarian Banghart
