District Governor Dennis McMann's Visit

Dennis told us about his 10 years as a Rotarian, stressing his trips abroad to countries such as Haiti to see some of the good works that Rotary has performed.

He described the importance of the Rotary foundation - particularly impressive is the efforts to help eradicate polio here and in many foreign countries.
The problem plaguing all service clubs is how to get new, younger members. Current millennials don't seem to like to join any organization - not service clubs or even marriage. Some of Dennis's suggested answers were to form service clubs to work on community projects, freeform clubs or anything else that might work. In short, don't go strictly by the book.
