Brief Description of Student’s Accomplishments:

I.Brian is a model of school-community engagement. A humble, consistent, and dedicated student, Brian ranks in the top third of his class, and is described by a teacher as someone who demonstrates a commitment “not just to grades (although he is an honor roll student)or grade point average, but more importantly to further his understanding of a given topic”. He is inquisitive, conscientious and self-motivated. Outside of the classroom, Brian is involved in several co-curricular activities including One Act Plays, soccer, tennis, and yearbook; he chartered the Interact Club of Conant a year ago. As Interact president, Brian has guided the club in the creation of its mission and set the tone for the club’s future which has grown in size to 50 student members. This year the club has held fundraisers with donations going to NH Food Bank. Just this spring, Brian traveled to China with the Rotary International Club as a representative of Conant High School. Along with his school work and co-curriuclar activities, Brian also keeps a part-time job at a local business. Next fall, Brian will be attending Wentworth Institute of Technology.
