Brief Description of Student’s Accomplishments:

Mary Elaine Algeo is a person who we, teachers and her peers at St. Patrick School, are proud to know and love. Hard working and studious, her teachers describe Mary Elaine as eager to learn, reflective, and thorough in her school work. Her peers describe her as someone who is kind, generous and fun to be around. The little ones in the younger grades admire her, and look forward to any opportunity to be her ‘partner’ when the older students are asked to partner on a task or attend a school event. I have personally noted that Mary Elaine is someone who perseveres, and is willing to take on a challenge. Her science teacher stated that Mary Elaine has a natural inclination and an inquiring mind for the natural sciences, while her Humanities teacher commented that Mary Elaine is a thoughtful and conscientious writer. Mary Elaine enjoys skiing and is an avid runner.

Saint Patrick School’s banner states our belief that “education of the heart is as important as education of the mind”. Mary Elaine Algeo exemplifies these words.
