Weekly Update 12/15
Did anyone notice what a glorious day it was on Sunday December 13th? I certainly did and was wishing I hadn’t let David Tower steal my Patriots-Dolphins tickets at the Reverse Raffle/Auction! I now have tickets to the meaningless Buffalo Bills game on December 28th and it will probably be 33 degrees and raining!
Friendly reminder that the meeting this Thursday is at Wood Bound Inn.
Jim O’Neil has round-up all sorts of folks to make this a fun-filled event! We will be presenting our Student of the Month award and then approximately 30 Students from the Conant High School Chorus will be entertaining us.
I believe that we will also be presenting a check to the Good People of Rindge for “Operation Santa”.
We held the Board of Directors Meeting this morning and the decision was unanimously made to get money to the Jaffrey and Rindge Food Pantries in this time of need. This reminds me that we owe a big Thank You to Preston Clark for donating his huge raffle winnings back to the Club!
I am very hopeful that we have a good turn-out for this Thursday’s Meeting? This will be your last chance to wish all the gang Happy Holidays before we enter the Christmas/New Year’s break! The next meeting will be on January 8’2015 at Wood Bound Inn.
