Weekly Update 8/11

Hello Everyone,

I just got home from the QUEST graduation. What a wonderful time. We got to meet the parents of so many of the campers. Tom Bennett's daughter, Elina, put together a 10 minute slide show of this years events. She did a great job and even added music. It was nice to get one more visit with the kids. There was plenty of pizza to finish off the night.

Remember, we are meeting at the Cathedral of the Pines at 5:30 on Thursday and have no morning meeting this week. It's sure to be a good time with refreshments, a tour and the talk by Courtney Banghart. Guests are encouraged for this fellowship activity. Don Upton would like to know how many will be attending so please let him know by phone, or email. Hope to see a lot of you there. I realize there is a scheduling conflict for some of our members but it just goes to show how community minded our members are. We will miss you but we understand.

Just a reminder, this is the weekend of the Festival of Fireworks. The people who signed up to put out the parking signs will meet at the Meeting House in a Jaffrey Center at 8:00 AM on Saturday. And the group taking the signs down will meet same time, same place on Sun. If you are not sure if you are on that list you can call me 532-7242 or 562-9428.
