This is a fairly quiet Rotary week and it’s been a good time to reflect on all of last week’s events.

Tuesday the Board of Directors managed to pass the revised Bi-laws. Big legislation for our little Club.

Wednesday was the Marion Mack Johnson Civic Leadership award presentation to Caroline Hollister. This event was well attend by the Rotarians as it should have been. I feel as a Rotarian it is our duty to support the achievements of fellow community leaders.

Thursday was the club assembly and I was trying to figure out how to occupy the hour? Guess there was no use in worrying about that as the club was so engaging, we actually ran past 8:30.

The Rotary District Golf Tournament in Grantham at the Eastman Links was a fun filled afternoon. It should come as no surprise that the President and his secret service men [Bill J., Ben and Mike S.] defeated the “Senior Team” [Dave T., Jed, Bill R. & Geno]. Both Teams played well and finished in 5th & 6th place respectively.

Friday was the “BIG E” event and hope to hear all about it at Thursday’s meeting.

September 25th guest speaker will be Dick Smith from the Granite State Association of Diabetes. He is going to talk to us about a fantastic Bass Fishing Tournament they hold annually at Camp Carefree up at Merry Meeting Lake.

Tom Bennett has the Invocation and I am sure he will say something inspirational.

Look forward to seeing you all Thursday!
