It’s 2 pm on a beautiful Tuesday afternoon and I’m sitting in my office in Manchester, watching the clock [which I never do]. I am anxious to head back to the Monadnock Region and enjoy the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Night at the Peterborough Players. It has been months since we had our last Fellowship event and I think that was the Talent Show? I anticipate a good time will be had by all!

On a more somber note. Please give your condolences to Ross Gauthier as his Mother passed away recently.

September 11 is our return to Franklin Pierce University. This promises to be an eventful meeting as we get a sneak preview into “The Roosevelt’s” documentary. Rotarians are encouraged to bring spouses and guest to this meeting for a small charge of $10 toward our breakfast obligation. Remember that this is also the meeting we will be swearing in our newest club member Jason Nero. We will be making a donation to “Team Jaffrey” for the Scarecrows event at this meeting. This is GOOD STUFF!

Thom Davis has the invocation.

September 16 the Board of Directors will meet at 7:30 am at the Chamber of Commerce Office in Jaffrey.

September 18 is our Club Assembly and also the date of the District Golf Tournament. I have high expectations for our clubs golf Teams!

Don Upton will have to update us on “The Big E” trip.

The combined effort of our Rotary Club and the Conant Alumni to host a golf Tournament on September 20th did not work out. Maybe we try something next year?

Look forward to seeing you all at Franklin Pierce on Thursday!
