Dec 20th message from the President

Hello fellow Rotarians,

 

I am glad to be back in town and I look forward to seeing you all for what is normally one of our most festival meetings: breakfast at Woodbound ala Rudy with a seasonal atmosphere aided by the Conant Glee Club.  But we also have the election of next year’s officers and a student of the month.  Hard to believe it is the last meeting of the year.

 

I was sorry to hear about John Peard, our first Non-Rotarian Paul Harris award winners, as his obituary proudly states.  He was a good benefactor to our communities.

 

I am also sorry to hear that our PE, Peter Davis, is still recovering from his knee surgery at Good Shephard.  I have been trying to get over to see him and hope to have a better report on Peter at our meeting.  We need him to be at his best on July 1^st, so I will be patient with the recovery.

 

I hope you all remember that we have no meeting next week because of Christmas and none the following week because of New Years.
