President Bob holds up the check for $1500 that Sam Lafortune accepted, on behalf of the Rotary Club, at the Chamber of Commerce "After Hours" event this past Wednesday. The check was in recognition of the Rotary's posting many hundreds of "Do Not Park" signs prior to the August Fireworks Festival... and taking them down the next day. In the meantime, Sam Lafortune, who injured herself on one of those two days, continues to heal, we are pleased to report.
