January 17th message from the President

Hello fellow Rotarians,

 

Please all remember that we have no meeting this week because of Martin Luther King’s Birthday.  I am tempted to go over to FPU on Thursday and give demerits to all that show for not reading my carefully crafted weekly messages.  But then, if you are reading this, you should not benefit by this warning.

 

We are back at FPU next week and will get the long-awaited bios of Mike Shea and Misty Start.  I think this will be at least our 4^th meeting with this expectation so it may be the most publicized meeting in our history.  How can any of us miss this.

 

We had a healthy Board of Directors meeting this morning in which, among other things, we had Bob Schaumann present to discuss membership.  We had two members resign at year end, Bill Janoch and Rudy Rosalez which matches the two new members we have initiated this year.  This is a very convenient time to suggest that you consider friends, neighbors or work associates for membership.  The nomination of new potential members is everyone’s responsibility.
