President-elect Jed Brummer Presides!

With Rotary Club President Jon Frederick attending Town of Jaffrey Budget Committee Meetings on Thursday evenings in January in preparation for Town Meeting, President-elect Jed Brummer hosted our January 8th meeting of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club.

Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Contributes to Australia Bush Fire Relief

The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club approved a special contribution to assist Rotary Clubs in Australia.  Knowing the country “is on fire” and the devastation is unfathomable to millions of homes, people, and wildlife, the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary decided to come together collectively to help.  Rotary Club Treasurer William Raymond (L), with support from President-elect Jed Brummer, moved that the Club become a “second responder." The Club was encouraged to meet District Governor Nancy Russell’s challenge for every club in our District to send a donation to the National Bushfires Appeal, which is organized by all of the Rotary District Governors in Australia.

Now THAT is a hat!

Known for her unique and stylish hats, our very own Susan Emerson came to our meeting well-prepared to battle the cold weather at meeting's end.  Andy Lawn, our Fellowship Chair, seems to agree!
