Brief Description of Student’s Accomplishments:

Brandon was nominated for recognition by three teachers.  His accomplishments and positive characteristics include:
  • Brandon is active in the JGS Student Council and has served as a class representative for three years.  This fall he heard about Santa’s House and encouraged the Student Council to raise money to help.  The initiative resulted in a donation of $240 to help families with holiday gifts.
  • Brandon takes feedback from his teachers and works hard to set goals and improve his skills.  His consistent efforts are a great example for peers.
  • Brandon is a leader in his classroom and is mindful of the feelings of his classmates.  Despite being a very strong student, he is humble.  He never brags about his ability or acts like it comes easily to him.
  • Brandon has been a member of our school’s Destination Imagination Team for three years.  He has demonstrated tremendous growth as a team member, and has learned to organize and manage time.  He helped lead his team to the Global Finals in Tennessee last May.
  • Brandon is an excellent role model within our school community.  He is consistently friendly, polite and kind.  We are very proud of his effort and growth in his five years at JGS.
