July 12th note from the President

Hello fellow Rotarians,

 

This is my first bulletin as your President.  I thank you for the trust you have put in me.

 

Gavel night could not have been better; the weather was great, surpassed only by the wonderful hospitality extended to us by Peter and Jinny Russell and their ideal setting. Thank you again Shelia for a wonderful job of leading our club for the past year.

 

Quest started last week and will be nearly half done by the time of this week’s meeting.  The community is embracing the program more each year with more volunteer support and words of appreciation.  We should all take pride in what I think is the best service project in our district.  There is an incredible amount of work that goes into the planning for this event and despite that it amazes me how many issues pop up that need an on the spot adjustment.  Please give Tonya and the rest of the Quest team your support and let them all know how much we appreciate their efforts.  They are the featured speakers at this week’s meeting.

 

Remember this meeting, and the next two, will be at Franklin Pierce, not The Shattuck.
