Hello fellow Rotarians,

The big news for this week, if not for the year or maybe even for our club’s history, is the article about Quest in “The Rotarian”.  It is a credit to our club to have taken on such a worthwhile project and a bigger credit to have accomplished what we set out to 6 years ago.  This is a tribute to you all for it has been embraced by all of our members, and for that I thank you.  But I am not sure if we could have pulled it off without Tonya perseverance.  Thank you Tonya Albee.

Harold Davis took some pictures at Gavel Night and created a portfolio.  If you click on the link at the bottom of the story you will be able to see his pictures.  If you click on any of the pictures you can walk through a slide show by then clicking on the arrows at the right or left sides of the picture.

Congratulations to Bill Raymond for receiving his Paul Harris Fellow Sapphire pin at last week’s meeting.

Our speaker this week is Steve Gehlbach.  Steve is the former Dean of the UMass School of Public Health and has written a book on American Plaques.  His talk entitled “An Epidemic in Vermont” is very relevant to us all.

Remember this week and next we will be at Franklin Pierce, not The Shattuck.

Yours in service,
Rotarian Banghart
