June 6th message from the President

Hello fellow Rotarians,

 

At this Thursday’s meeting, Rotarians Peter Davis, Sam LaFortune and Owen Houghton, all Board members of the Community Center of Jaffrey, will lead a discussion and seek member feedback on a variety of issues impacting the Jaffrey-Rindge school district, the potential for an addiction resource and recovery center,  perspectives on best use of  the 14 acres of the St. Pats school facility and future needs for Senior Housing, Head Start, Community Gardens, District School Offices and Recreation Department.  These topics are amongst the most relevant that we have had this year.

 

Let me also take this opportunity to remind you that the J-R School District is holding a meeting tonight from 6-7:00 at the CHS Cafeteria, looking for us all to share our thoughts on what we expect of the schools.  Ruben Duncan mentioned this at the meeting when he spoke to us at Millipore.  If you have not already participated in this Re-Vision and Re-Mission forum, this would be a chance to do so.
