Hannah Shea Honored as March "Student of the Month"

Student of the Month, Hannah Shea, is honored by Rotarian Sam LaFortune (R), along with a Certificate and Gift Card to a local bookstore.  With Hannah is her mom, Tammy (L), and dad, Matt.  Described by Principal Susan Shaw-Sarles (not pictured) as a role model in school for being "safe, kind, and caring," her accomplishments as a dedicated recycler and supporter of her peers merited her nomination by the Jaffrey Grade School staff.

Project Shakespeare Receives Rotary Donation

Deborah Thurber, who heads Project Shakespeare, was pleased to receive a financial donation from the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club.  In her enthusiastic comments, Deborah acknowledged the good work of Rotary, giving special mention to Rotarian Randy Morse as someone who was instrumental in helping Project Shakespeare get started.  According to Deborah, it was Randy who helped her with the creation of a Business Plan, and for which she was most appreciative for his assistance when the theatrical organization was initially formed.
