A delighted Kelly Ferro (left), the Executive Director of the Dublin Community Preschool, received a donation from our Charitable Giving Committee at our March 1st meeting. Kelly voiced her appreciation for the donation and indicated it will be put to good use!
 
 
Dr. Jacques Veilleux, a Professor at Franklin Pierce University, provided Rotarians an interesting presentation on bats in New Hampshire, with a particular emphasis on the white nose syndrome, which has estimated to have killed millions of bats and with no end in sight.  Bats are important for our ecosystem, eating as much as their own weight each day in insects.
 
 
Robert Oeser, a former Rotarian and current member of the Rindge Board of Selectmen, came to our meeting to promote "Rindge 250," the upcoming Rindge 250th Celebration that occurs this year.  The Town of Rindge kicked off a series of 2018 events for its Sestercentennial with a reading of the Town Charter on February 12th.
