Hi Rotarians,

We will meet at The Shattuck this week for our breakfast meeting.

Diane Fukuda has the Invocation.

Welcome to Juan Lorca from Santiago, Chile!  Juan is our new Exchange student and we look forward to learning from him throughout the year.

In my absence (I am in Colorado), Jim Banghart will preside over our meeting.  Were I there, I would thank Don Upton and his crew for helping with guest parking arrangements during Peter Russell’s daughter’s wedding.

Margaret Clark and her students will present their experiences with Envirothon at our meeting - should be quite interesting.

Please remember that we will NOT meet on September 7th due to the Labor Day holiday.  Yes, summer is over.  Our next meeting will be at Franklin Pierce on September 14th.

Although we won’t meet on September 7th, an opportunity for fellowship occurs that same Thursday evening.  Once again, please circle your calendar to join fellow Rotarians from area Clubs at the Cooper’s Hill Public House in Peterborough, 5-7pm.  Wear your Rotary shirt, caps, jackets, or pin to be assured a discount.

Dues due?  Bring your check to Bill Raymond.  If you did not receive email from Bill, please approach him at Thursday’s meeting.

Lastly, keep our Houston Rotarians and their families, as well as all Texans, in your thoughts and prayers.  It’s a real disaster down there.

Jim Banghart, thanks for covering for me.

Yours in service,

bob
