Hi Rotarians,

We meet at Franklin Pierce this week in our usual meeting room. This will be a continental breakfast.

QUEST continues to move forward and things are going well. Please check the QUEST schedule by going to our website at JRRotary.org.  If you are unavailable for your assigned “window,” please find a substitute.  Our “kids” are counting on us!  Remember that QUEST runs four days this week. As we also host QUEST campers on Friday, Rotarians scheduled for that day should meet at the Boathouse.

In lieu of a guest speaker for Thursday, we have a special treat for the Club, one that is not expected.  This will keep you in suspense – something that you have never seen before.  I plan to finish the meeting a bit early so that we can be ready for the QUEST campers upon their arrival.

As I follow in the footsteps of Jim Banghart, I realize his are big shoes to fill. Over the next several weeks, I am sitting down with Rotarians one-on-one to gain your perspectives. I am learning much. Always interesting how one learns when eyes and ears are open and one's mouth is shut!  If I haven’t yet sat down with you, I will.  In the meantime, thanks for your thoughts and ideas – things are coming together and great things will be accomplished this year as we work together for the betterment of our two communities!

Yours in service,
