Hi Rotarians,
We meet at Franklin Pierce this week in our usual meeting room. This time, a full breakfast.
Andy Harris has the Invocation.
Shannon Bennett, one of our three Youth Exchange students, will share her experience in Brazil at our meeting. Shannon returned about a month ago – no moss grows under her feet since her return as she has since traveled to Colorado and has volunteered at QUEST.
Speaking of which, we enter our third week of QUEST – things continue to roll along in a positive fashion. Kudos to all for your efforts to date, including our Interactors and Volunteers. Hard to believe that the trip to Kimball’s in Westford is almost here --Friday, July 28th.
I am pleased that Sadie Halliday, a member of the Membership Committee, has agreed to take on the role of Chairman. I have a lot of respect for Sadie and her enthusiasm; I welcome her taking the reins from the former membership chair (me!).
At Tuesday’s board meeting, I shared my president’s goals for 2017/18 – I will share these during our Club Assembly. Because of QUEST, we will ensure a prompt 8:30am close to our meeting.
See you on Thursday!
Yours in service,
bob
