Hi Fellow Rotarians,

Our Breakfast meeting this week is at Franklin Pierce University.  Bill Anders has the Invocation.

Halloween is with us and, with it, the return to the colder weather. It was nice weather while it lasted.

With this first week in November comes our annual Raffle Party.  We are now over the 200 mark insofar as ticket sales are concerned.  Time for the last-minute thrust -- please bring with you unsold tickets and the money from your ticket sales to Travis this Thursday.  Kudos to Misty for a great job of posting on Facebook the many prizes.  Everyone, let's help the committee ensure that we have a VERY successful event!

Last, but not least, cocktails at 5:30pm... the main Raffle Party happenings begin at 6:30pm on Friday, November 3rd, at the Shattuck.

Thanks to those Rotarians who came out on Saturday for the Roadside cleanup. The usual motley assortment of trash was collected and blue bags dotted the roadside after the Club's effort. We even found an uncashed check!

Nice to see Sheila and Diane at the Jaffrey-Rindge Lion's Club Mystery Dinner even on Sunday.  The Lions Club did a nice job and the Shattuck was full. I've known their president, Jim Van Campen, for several years, and I will share with you at the Breakfast meeting our positive conversation about "service."  Don't ask me how I got all that whipped cream off of my head, though -- that's ANOTHER story.

We have some good speakers coming up over the next few weeks before the holidays start to impact.  Looking forward to hearing what they share with us.

Yours in Service,

bob
