We meet Thursday at Franklin Pierce University for our Breakfast meeting. Dave Tower has the Invocation.
Jon Springer, our District Governor, will be our guest speaker. The Board of Directors will meet with Jon at 8:30am immediately following the meeting.
As I type this around the noon hour on Tuesday, it is HOT out there. Then, again, let's enjoy this as in four more months we will be wishing for even a modicom of this warm weather. September has been a great month and we have been fortunate to not have hurricanes affecting us.
Everyone is encouraged to complete their sale of Raffle Party tickets. Randy Morse is looking for contributions for the Silent Auction and the LIVE auction. Please do not wait until "last minute." "Today is the tomorrow that you thought about yesterday!!"
The Rotary Club has made a monetary donation to Franklin Pierce University in lieu of the previously-announced gift that was made known to all at the last Club Assembly. I am pleased that we were able even more so to recognize via our gift the celebration and Installation of the sixth president of Franklin Pierce University, Dr. Kim Mooney.
