Hello fellow Rotarians,

After a week off I look forward to our weekly meeting even more than normal and I look forward to seeing you all.  This week’s meeting will feature the bios of Harold Davis and Nat Peirce and a visit by our Assistant District Governor (ADG), Dale Gabel.  Give Dale a warm welcome when you see him.

I suspect most of you are unaware that October 24th is World Polio Day, something that resonates with all Rotarians and our efforts to eradicate this terrible disease.  The day commemorates the birth of Jonas Salk, the developer of a polio vaccine.  I encourage you all to play that up in your exchanges this week to increase awareness.

I mentioned before that the District Expo is being held on November 10th from 6-9PM at the Crowne Plaza in Nashua. It will have some speakers on the Foundation that are claimed to be “outstanding quality”.  If you are interested, you can talk to our ADG this week and get your tickets from him.

Yours in service,
Rotarian Banghart
