October 4 message from the President

Hello fellow Rotarians,

 

This weekend is Scarecrow weekend in Jaffrey, and we have some volunteers working the hay pit and some serving chili.  We can use additional help so let us know if you are available.  Our sponsorship for the event provided us with 15 tickets to build a scarecrow that we are trying to get to needy families.  If you know of any, let me know and we will get them the tickets.

 

Our speaker this week is Eric Poor, an accomplished journalist and author.  A short bio is available on our website but if you do an internet search on him you will be impressed by his achievements.  I am looking forward to his talk.
