Hello all Rotarians,
I sincerely hope everyone has been able to dig themselves out or hired a plow. This has been some winter for snow!
We will meet this Thursday at 7:15am at Franklin Pierce University. The meeting will be presided over by our dearest friend and former president, Rudra Aryal. Both Donna and I are out of town this week.
The subject of Thursday's meeting will be to discuss club priorities and activities for 2026. There are many options to serve our communities, and it would be good for us to come to agreement on what we should support. Some examples that were recently discussed.
- Our ongoing commitment to community suppers - we did two last year, and it is my opinion that we should also do two in 2026 - one in April and one in October.
- The national 250th anniversary is this year. Do we want to participate, and if so, how?
- With the dissolution of Team Jaffrey, is there a need for us to step up in our role in community events in Jaffrey?
- Do we want to take part in the St. Patrick's Day parade? We voted to give the organizer $200 but should we be physically present as well?
- I personally tend to be more plugged into events in Jaffrey. Are we missing potential events in Rindge of which I am unaware?
Thank you all and stay warm! I am in California this week and Rochester, NY, next week, returning on March 8th. If folks need me for anything, please use email.
Yours in Service,
Tom
