Fellow Rotarians,

We re-Zoom our meetings this week. An invitation was sent by email yesterday for a 7:15am start on Thursday morning. Mike Shea will be with us to discuss ways to proceed with our Spring roadside cleanup.

The following is a message from our incoming District Governor:

The Rotary Leadership Education and Development Seminar (Rotary LEADS) that had been scheduled for April 4th has now been re-scheduled as a series of online Zoom meetings. Rotary LEADS is a rebranding of the former District Assembly by the incoming District Governor Steve Puderbaugh.

We will kick off Rotary LEADS on April 25th at 8:00am with Ken Bosse giving a Leadership talk entitled See It-Be It (Creating an Obtainable Vision). Ken has gotten great reviews when speaking at other leadership events and is a Past Rotary club president.

Our next speaker will be Jim Marggraff. Jim is a Rotarian and a VP of Google. He will be sharing his vision of mobilizing 1 million volunteers through Volunteer Surge.

Our final speaker will be Carolyn Johnson, our Zone Membership Coordinator.  Her presentation is titled Grow Rotary: People, Purpose, Projects and Promotion.

We also plan to unveil a huge effort to do a large scale Global Grant project where we can help our medical personnel and first responders across our district as they face the Covid-19 challenge. This is an exciting and very large undertaking that will involve all of our clubs who want to take advantage of the opportunity in their own communities.

Pre-register for the April 25th session here: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/upIkc-2sqzsvzSMdj-DUmQjK04j1gXVroQ   After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

See you on Thursday morning.  Have a great week.

Sincerely,

Jon
