Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We meet at Franklin Pierce University for our breakfast meeting on Thursday morning, May 2nd, at 7:15am.  Our inimitable Joe Manning has the Invocation.

Someone once said that "the third time's the charm."  Having been rained out the past two Saturday mornings, Mike Shea welcomes all Rotarians to join us at the West Rindge Builders' parking lot on Saturday morning at 8:00am for our Spring Roadside Clean-up.

Brett Blanchard, Conant High School Principal, will be our guest speaker on Thursday.  With his first school year nearly complete, Brett has some observations he will share with Rotarians, as well as sharing some of what has been instituted at Conant, and what he hopes to do in the immediate near future to enhance the learning environment at our high school that serves the towns of Rindge and Jaffrey.

We welcome Russ Robertson's return from his snowbird days down south... it will be good to see Russ, as well as fellow snowbirds Bill Raymond and Dave Tower, although I am unsure as to exactly when those latter two gentlemen arrive back in town.

Maria Anton, our Rotary "4-Way Test" winner at the District semifinals, will compete for the Grand Prize Saturday morning at the District Meeting in Danvers; she is one of four contestants vying for a very nice top prize.  I will be there over the weekend to represent our Club and look forward to the experience!  Hoping, too, to see Maria win, although it is an honor to have been chosen as one of the four semi-finalists.

See you Thursday!

Yours in Service,

bob
