The Jaffrey Rindge Rotary will NOT meet Thursday morning, August 20th at 7:15am. INSTEAD, we will be at the Peterborough Players at 6:00pm. We will share the appetizers that each of us brings, and please BYOB. I will have the paper goods and cups. The show, "Emma," starts at 7:30pm.
We still need to sell nine more tickets. Please let me know that you are interested. The tickets are $53.00 each. and you can write a check to the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club and bring it to me the night of the show. I will have the tickets to give to you that same evening. This is a social event, there will be no meeting or speaker... just a good time for all, as in previous years. You don't want to miss it!
Thank you to Ames Automotive Enterprises and Joan Ames for an amazing evening last week. The car museum and light show were spectacular. We enjoyed Pizza that was delivered from Main Crust Pizzeria in Marlborough. Enjoy the pictures (below). Thank you, Sheila Bergeron, for arranging this to happen.
We also had a very special guest join us: Moritz Nedermier, our exchange student from Germany during the 2023/2024 year. He stayed with Sheila Bergeron for half the year and stayed with another family from Rindge the other half. He came to several Rotary meetings and had dinner with other members during his year here. It was a great pleasure to see him again.
Our next meeting on August 27th will be at Franklin Pierce University at 7:15am. Our very own Dr. Marc Winiecki will be our Speaker and Bill Coleman has the Invocation.
