Dear Rotarians,
Our next meeting is this coming Thursday, August 21st, at 7:15am at the Cathedral of the Pines. Tom and Eleanor will provide breakfast, and our speakers will be from Working Together for JR - the new organization formed to help support our school district. They will talk about their efforts and discuss issues and projects in which we may wish to become involved.
We will also discuss some housekeeping issues such as:
- The use of ClubRunner to organize, plan, and track what we are doing.
- Communications: I want to verify email addresses so that everyone is receiving important communications.
- Speaker selection and responsibilities for 2025-2026.
Labor Day is September 1st -- the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will not meet due to the holiday.
September 11th at 7:15am will be a regular meeting at Franklin Pierce University, as we will resume meeting at FPU now that students have returned for the Fall.
Please be ready to commit to your part for our annual Fundraiser, which will be Friday evening, October 17th. We will be handing out tickets to sell very soon. More that that, we need to go out and get folks to donate items for the auction. Last year we raised about $18,000 after expenses. Our community really needs our support this year, so lets see if we can't beat least year's tally!
