Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We had a great turnout for last week's meeting and the presentation by my daughter, Lily Russell-Hooks, who spoke to the topic of "sustainability."

This week's meeting of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will again be at the Cathedral of the Pines on Thursday, August 4th, at 7:30am.  Dunkin' coffee and Munchkins will be available.

We are still waiting to hear from Franklin Pierce University and their dining room schedule for our August 11th meeting, one in which we will host Randall Barclay, our District Governor.  As soon as our location is firmed up, we will let everyone know.

This week on Wednesday, August 3rd, the annual August Church Fair will be held at the First Church in Jaffrey.  As in past years, Rotarians have helped with the parking between 11:30am and about 1:15pm.  Let Owen Houghton know that you can help, as about six Rotarians will be needed.

Yours in Service,

Peter
