Hi Fellow Rotarians,

Past President Sheila Bergeron will be running this week's meeting, and Stephanie Thompson will be introducing our guest speaker, Mandy Sliver.

Mandy is President of the Peterborough Sunshine Fund, which provides humanitarian support to individuals and families in need in Peterborough and surrounding communities. Mandy will share how the Sunshine Fund came to be, as well as some of the work that it has accomplished.

Our meeting will be at the regular time and place, Franklin Pierce University, at 7:15am, on Thursday, December 8th, in the University dining hall.

Hope everyone is getting in the holiday spirit!

Yours in Service,

Peter

Past President Ben Wheeler Recognizes our Interactor of the Month

Past President Ben Wheeler (L) reads the citation presented to Ashlyn Askey, Interactor of the Month.   Pictured next to Ben is Ashlyn (C) and one understandably pround mother, Rebecca Anne Askey.   In recognizing Ashlyn, her citation read, "On recogntition of the recommendations of many, the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club wishers to publicly recognize, honor, and commend Ashlyn Askey as Interactor of the Month for exemplary service to others."  Ashlyn is not only a member of the Board of Directors of the Conant Interact Club, she is involved in many of the Interact projects.

Interactor of the Month -- Ashlyn Askey

Ashlyn is a 10th grader at Conant High School and resides in Rindge.  Following her recongition by the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club, Ashlyn shared a few personal thoughts.

It wouldn't be a recognition of our Interactor of the Month without a group picture, would it?

What's THAT on Ben Wheeler's Face?

Rumor has it that Ben Wheeler has grown a mustache!
